A few months ago I took in a feline who was a bit down on his luck.
He hasn’t got an entrepreneurial bone in his body but he has taught me a few things about how to run a business. 😉
Here’s what I’ve learned from Felix —
1) Step Away From the Computer:
The keyboard makes a clickety noise when you walk on it and the papers are crunchy cozy… but you can waste hours there if you’re not careful.
2) Don’t Neglect Your Sleep:
Felix loves to sleep. Lives to sleep. Sleeps to sleep. And he’s so good at it!
3) Don’t Dwell On What Didn’t Work Out:
Until Felix gets used to his new home he’ll be indoors. But sometimes he pines for what might have been.
4) Live in the Moment:
Felix snores. Loudly and often. He has a diverse repertoire and he gives himself over to it, fully and completely.
5) Take Time for Friends:
Sometimes Felix wanders off for a little chill time with his buddies. Just to reconnect and clear his head.
6) Try Something New:
Things don’t always go as expected in the tub and you might get wet but that saves on grooming time so it’s really a win win.
7) Find Your Zen Place:
You can’t be too self-conscious. Just be yourself and go where the feeling takes you.
Have you picked up any business insights from unexpected places?
